Just wanted to say…after reading this blog, I did add Avatar to my Netflix list. I was prepared to turn it off and send it back if it was not worth watching. It was SO WONDERFUL, that I ended up watching the movie at least 3 times and then all the DVD extras. LOVED the movie and the message. The movie was not hard for me to watch. (I had seriously been traumatized by Slumdog Millionaire, so I wasn’t willing to experience something like that again.)

Thank you for the inspiration to give it another look!

Can I just say what a relief to find someone who at some point knows what they’re talking about on the internet. You basically know how to bring an issue to light and make it advantageous. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.

I have been paying attention to the messages/concepts/ ideas portrayed in movies and video for some time. Together with my grown sons we have become fans and critics of many different writers and directors. We have been surprised and sometimes overjoyed at the blockbuster movies and the sometimes overlooked movies with more subtle messages.
Film is being used in a very positive way to reach the masses on a conscious and unconscious level. Because of film people everywhere are becoming more open and aware of concepts and ideas in a more direct and easily digestible way. In bite sized pieces people are allowing messages about who we are, why we are here, what we are meant to do, what is reality?, are there other dimensions, is it possible to create our future?, what happens after death, (and so many more) to filter into their thought processes.
I think it is exciting to see and hear people taking a peek beneath the surface of a film and to begin to look at the deeper meaning.
Films such as; The Matrix, the Sixth Sense, Signs, The Green Mile, Star Trek, The Undiscovered Country, and Forrest Gump to name a few have been instrumental in presenting and exploring concepts which are vital to our collective global awakening.
So exciting to be a part of this period in human history …..I think today I shall write and direct my own movie/reality/production and take center stage. Woohoo!

Have not seen Avatar as of yet!! I see & Vision what you wrote and feel confident the Creator of the Movie was Divinely inspired!! I heard him talk in an interview the other day and could Hear many thing’s that were not being said. He explained he is given these Vision’s & in Dream time what to do next!! Each Light worker has their own part in helping other’s Re-Remember and Awaken to who they really Are as a Being of Love & Light!!!! All in the Sacred Circle, Of All that IS !!!! (-: “We are All Related through Creation”
Robin Williams had An “Other Side” Movie that helped to Awaken some other’s!!!! Thank you for your post and other’s.

~Hello Cathy! I also went to see AVATAR twice! It is the most beautifully made movie I have ever seen in my entire life…I totally fell in love with the plot and the messages within of Jake Scully’s rise above fear and into conscouness rising . It is a message for Humans to wake up and take notice.I also went the second time with my daughter although she is all of 27years old… she is a big fan also now. I am ever more amazed how certain souls are perhaps “chosen” to pass messages on to us Humans, through movies, videos, articules whatever means…it is a “fight” back getting the message across we Humans ARE more that just greed and poverty and war.I love your articules and look forward to hearing from you I am a fan of yous also on facebook . Incidentially I am almost 63 years young and my partner and myself were among many of our age group at the showing of AVATAR…much love and light Susan~

Hmmm…Interesting, Cathy.

I tweeted the other day that the trailer for this movie had not inspired me to see it, leaving me with the impression that it was created for the *computer gaming* crowd. There are other movies that are at the top of my list.

Your post has me *questioning* that perception, though. Or perhaps, that was your goal all along? Anyway, I trust my inner guidance and if the inspiration arises fully, I will definitely watch it. Being highly sensitive, I am *very picky* about what I give my visual attention to as it tends to stay in my mind. May mean waiting for the DVD & watching it at home so I can turn it off or take breaks when necessary.

I giggled when I read: let’s face if your teen wants to spend time with you it’s a go.

LOL, that’s true~even if it seems like it might involve suffering. Then again, we’ve got NPA for suffering, don’t we?
